The battery wasnŽt giving me a full days usage, the bluetooth wasnŽt reliable, the WiFi was getting weaker and weaker. So I decided to dump my old O2 XDA mini. The HTC Touch Diamond REALLY caught my eye. I went the the O2 store to decide between the Mac iPhone and the HTC Touch Diamond. As soon as I was asked the question "Do you like to send and recieve MMS messages?", the iPhone was out. Secondly I tried the ones in store and wasnŽt impressed with the responsiveness. To be fair the choice was slightly loaded, Smartphones will always have a place in my pocket since they ALL have .net client installed, allowing anyone to download Visual studio express and develop killer application on your own phone for nothing. So far IŽm loving it. There is certainly a knack getting the onscreen keyboard and swipe jestures, there is a slide out keyboard version "HTC Touch Diamond Pro" but this nearly doubles the height fo the unit, an in my opinion, stops becoming a trouser pocket phone and is a jacket pocket phone.
